On April 17th, USEEDS° hosted the Usability Stammtisch Berlin. About 50 people came around to listen to Patrick Quattlebaum from Adaptive Path. Patrick was in Berlin to teach at Adptive Path’s UX Intensive and took the opportunity to give an interesting talk on Service Design. After introducing how he defines a service based on the example Uber, Patrick gave a couple of reasons (e.g. overcoming the serivce anticipation gap) why service design can help to achieve business objectives and increase customer loyalty. Patrick continued introducing a variety service design methods (e.g. expereince maps, service blueprint) and ended giving a bunch of tips applying these methods.

We learned a lot from this presentation and the other UX Intensive courses and look forward to apply what we learned in our everyday work. Thank you again, Patrick!
